Low growing seaside species which are drought and exposure tolerant and enjoy free-draining, sunny sites which are often the conditions which are produced on flowering green roofs.

Sea Campion (Silene uniflora)

Maiden Pink (Dianthus deltoides)

Rock Rose (Helianthemum nummularium)

Thyme (Thymus polytrichus)

Thrift (Armeria maritima)
