Musk Mallow (Malva moschata)
A plant of sunny, well-drained roadsides, Musk Mallow has wide, pale pink, delicate, tissue-like flowers in July and August that give off a delicate scent . This short lived perennial has branched leaves and varies in height from 50 to 100 cm tall.
Sowing: Can be sown at any time of year, but best in early autumn or in spring. Sow in trays or pots of moist compost and transplant to a well-drained sunny site, or sow directly onto a fine-raked seedbed firming down well. Keep young plants watered and weeded.
