Prices

The prices on our website are correct at the time of entering the information onto our web pages. However, we reserve the right to change prices at any time. All prices include VAT if applicable.

Payment

We accept payment online using PayPal, either with your credit card or PayPal account. See How to Order for other order options. If your card issuer or bank refuses to authorise payment to us, we will contact you for further instructions. We will not be liable for any resulting delay or non-delivery.

Customers outside the British Isles

Online ordering is available only to customers within the British Isles excluding Ireland. We are very sorry that we can no longer send seed to Northern Ireland due to regulations related to plant health put in place after Brexit. Although we can sometimes supply some species to customers in other countries, vital safeguards to ensure that live plant material is not transported irresponsibly and illegally mean that you must contact us directly to enquire about orders to other countries and to Northern Ireland.

Cancelling your order

If you change your mind about ordering our seed you can cancel your order and return the seed, as long as the seed packaging is unopened and is in good condition, within 14 days of receiving your wildflower seed order. You will be responsible for return carriage costs.

Once we receive the returned seeds we will contact you to arrange a refund for the cost of the seed. We can only issue refunds to the purchaser of the seeds.

About your order

Our seed is of the highest quality. The wildflower seed in your order is grown, harvested, cleaned and stored here on our farm in Angus with the exception of a small number of species (heather for example) that we harvest directly from the wild, using hand harvesting or low impact mechanical harvesting to ensure that natural populations are not adversely affected. Occasionally, it is necessary to supplement a species of wildflower in our seed mixes with the same species bought from another responsible UK producer who can demonstrate the origin of their seed stocks.

As can be seen from our mix description the grass seed in our meadow mixes is usually of wild species but not from our production and not of Scottish origin. Some of our mixes do use our own produced Scottish origin grass seed and if you have a particular requirement for Scottish origin grass seed then please get in touch.

Our tree seed is purchased from collectors who have carefully recorded the (Scottish) origin of those collections.

We welcome the opportunity to chat through any questions that you have about your wildflower seed projects as well as providing cultivation advice with your order. Please take time to read through our advice notes before choosing and before sowing your seeds. If you have any questions then please get in touch.

We are signatories to the Flora Locale code of conduct for producers and suppliers of wildflowers and are members of the Small Business Federation, the Scottish Wild Harvest Association and the Scottish Seed Trade Association

Problems with your order

We are experts in the production, cleaning and testing of wildflower seeds and we were awarded Scottish Government grant aid to continue our research into improving the quality of wildflower seed. We are confident that the seed we provide is very high quality when it arrives with you but if there is a problem with your order then please let us know as soon as possible.

If your order does not arrive in good condition then please contact us to return it, in its original packaging within 7 days of receipt.

If, after planting there are problems establishing or managing your wildflower project then please get in touch with us for advice although we cannot offer a refund after seed packages have been opened and the seed planted.
